Across the weekend, buses will replace trains between Lidcombe and Sydenham on the T3 Bankstown Line.
Buses will also replace trains on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line on both Saturday and Sunday between Cronulla and Sutherland. Additionally, buses will also replace some trains between Waterfall and Sutherland on Saturday from 1.30am to 5.30am, from 11.30pm to 3am, and on Sunday from 11.30pm to 3am.
On the T8 Airport & South Line, buses will replace the all-stations trains between Wolli Creek and Revesby on Sunday only from 8.40am to 3pm. Express trains continue to run.
Travel into the city for Vivid will not be heavily impacted by trackwork, with an additional 400 train services on offer over the duration of the event.
Sydney Trains will have more than 702 workers carrying out a significant amount of work over this period, including track circuit renewal in CBD, retaining wall, track reconditioning and ballast cleaning.
Some trains may run to changed stopping pattern and timetable. Passengers may need to change trains and are encouraged to allow extra travel time and plan ahead by visiting transportnsw.info or using trip planning apps.

Intercity
On the South Coast Line, buses will replace some trains from Waterfall to Sutherland on Saturday from 11.50pm to 3am. On Sunday, buses will replace trains between Thirroul and Sutherland from 11.50pm to 3am.
Metro
Across the weekend buses will replace Sydney Metro train services between Tallawong and Chatswood due to testing for the upcoming metro extension into the Sydney CBD.
