Royal Australian Air Force head of air force capability, Air Vice-Marshal Nicholas Hogan has confirmed that RAAF personnel met to discuss the Global Combat Air Program and requested more information during the Avalon Australian International Airshow.
The descent was controlled by an auto-flight system that had to be disconnected when the aircraft dipped to 480 ft below the minimum safe level and wouldn’t respond to crew instruction.
