A Lufthansa Airbus A340-300(A343) was on its way to Frankfurt/Main (Germany) before it had to head back to Boston, MA- the place from where it had taken to the skies. This was in light of a bird strike that had caused high vibrations in one of their engines (CFM56). After this incident on January 19, 2024, the aircraft remained on the ground for about six days.
