If you are a low-cost carrier, the more seats you can cram on the plane, the better. However, for full-service airlines, such as Delta Air Lines, the better option is to have more premium seats that bring higher yields per passenger. Looking after premium passengers is an art in itself, with everything from the lie-flat bed to the food and the pillow under scrutiny, even including the quality of the amenity kits.
