What politicians get wrong about transportation

The infrastructure we plan and build today is what we will use for the next 50 or more years. A clear divergence emerges when looking towards the coming election and the transportation policies put forth by the political parties.

The path to the left focuses more on walking and cycling connections and plentiful public transport, while the path to the right focuses on improving and expanding the road network.

While each approach has merit, neither offers a complete solution to our transport problems.
