When Qantas first announced it would fly nonstop from Australia to Europe, plenty of skeptics predicted the 18-hour flights would flop. Qantas, under the leadership of former CEO Alan Joyce, would have none of that negativity and has been proven right, as these are now among the airline’s most popular routes.
