Amazon’s plans for Project Kuiper satellite launch are delayed

Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) reportedly plans to require foreign businesses who want to provide domestic satellite telecoms services to have a gateway station located in the country.

Aspiring LEO satellite operator Rivada Space Networks announced on Tuesday that it has signed on new partners in five markets across Asia-Pacific, including the Philippines and Brunei, for its “Outernet” satellite broadband network.

The Sri Lankan government will vote this week to change a law that will pave the way for SpaceX’s Starlink satellite connectivity service to deploy on the island, reported ET Telecom.
