The fifth-largest airline in North America, Alaska Airlines, has served the Alaskan bush since its inauguration in 1944. Alaska Airlines continues to have several Milk Run flights serving the towns of Southeast Alaska. The Milk Run flights, are daily hops between small towns, serving communities that roads to the outside world may not connect.
