Terri O’Toole argued there wasn’t even a single part of the footage filmed on an aircraft, meaning those on board wouldn’t be familiar with the correct procedures in the event of a major incident.
The airport, which had insisted an underground station was the best solution, has bowed to pressure after the federal government’s mediator, Neil Scales, sided with the state government.
