Queensland Air Museum, based in Caloundra, is one of 16 organisations receiving grants of up to $1,000 as part of the airport’s inaugural $15,000 Community Support Fund.
Despite the penalty, the Flying Kangaroo said the ACCC is no longer proceeding with claims the airline received payment for flights it had no intention of providing – essentially removing the suggestion it deliberately misled consumers.
Dubbed the Clive Berghofer Maintenance Centre, the 5000-square-metre facility is the largest maintenance base in LifeFlight’s network and the largest hangar at Archerfield, replacing the old LifeFlight maintenance centre built in the 1940s.
