On February, American ultra-low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines (NK) received a single A320neo leased from Aviation Capital Group (ACG). Two Pratt & Whitney PW1100G geared turbofan engines powered the aircraft. The airframe was built in Mobile, Alabama (BFM). It was ferried from BFM to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) upon delivery. All aircraft delivered by ACG to Spirit Airlines are factory-new; they come directly from Airbus's orderbook. This brings over 40 active A320neos into North American Airlines' fleet.
