US President Joe Biden has pulled out of this year’s presidential race, and is endorsing his deputy Kamala Harris as the Democratic party’s nominee.
Former advisor to Presidents Joe Biden and Bill Clinton, Jamie Metzl, told 3AW Breakfast“this is a very important moment for our democracy in our country”.
“I anticipate an extremely ruthless and dirty and quite horrible campaign, but that’s unfortunately where things are with American politics,” Mr Metzl said in relation to the campaign against Kamala Harris.
