On-time performance across all major airlines is still lagging behind long-term averages, with 76.8 per cent of flights arriving on time in June, 77.8 per cent departing on time, and 2.5 per cent cancelled.
The service, starting in September, will operate three times per week using Jetstar’s A320 fleet, with ticket sales to begin next month. Jetstar estimates that it will create 58,000 seats per year between Adelaide and the popular tourist destination.
