The United Firefighters Union of Australia said the “in-principle” deal with Airservices satisfies its concerns about understaffing, resourcing and working conditions.
Dubbed “Wilbur Air”, the “e-airline” will have priority access to the Skyportz vertiport network, with a “range of aircraft partners” to provide services including short- and long-range passenger transport and heavy-lift drone deliveries.
In its preliminary report, air crash investigators said voice recordings showed the pilot’s rate and volume of speech had “substantially lowered”.
