Globe raises more cash in latest tower sale

Indian telco Bharti Airtel said on Wednesday it has deployed recently-acquired extra spectrum in Rajasthan, which it says will boost performance of its 4G and 5G services in the state.

United Group announced it signed a purchase agreement for financially troubled Slovenian quad-player T-2, a move that could save the company from bankruptcy, while bolstering its local unit’s mobile and broadband offerings.   

Veon-owned Bangladesh operator Banglalink said on Thursday that it has become the first mobile operator in the country to phase out 3G services as it shifts focus to boosting performance of its 4G network.
